Case Study
Custom Website for Ravenscroft Anaesthetic Services
Ravenscroft Anaesthetic Services are an independent anaesthesia provider in Gloucestershire. They needed a straightforward, professional site giving patients clear pre-operative information, and explaining how their care fits with the other providers a patient will deal with. The brief: keep it straightforward, trustworthy, and easy to update.

The Challenge
- Clarity for patients: procedure information, FAQs, and what to expect before and after anaesthesia, all in plain English.
- Clinical credibility: present a consultant-led service with the right tone and signposting.
- Joined-up pathways: a dedicated partner organisation and the local private hospitals’ network handle referrals and enquiries.
What I Did
After a short discovery to understand their needs and how the practice runs, I designed and built a fast, modern site with a custom CMS — the same core setup I use for small, non-technical teams — so content stays consistent and easy to manage.
How It Helps (in real terms)
- Edit it yourself: You can create patient information pages in minutes, with no developer needed.
- Tailored content blocks: Pre-op instructions, “what to expect”, and FAQ sections snap into place and stay on-brand with pre-made designs.
- Clear signposting: Prominent links direct patients to pages for enquiries and fees, keeping admin tidy.
- Scales with them: As the practice grows, the site stays quick to load.
- Built for trust: Fast, mobile-first pages with clear headings—easy to read on a phone in a waiting room.
- Preview before publish: Staff can check updates before they go live, reducing mistakes.
The Outcome
- Professional presence: A site that matches the standard of care—calm, clear, no fluff.
- Fewer basic queries: Patients can find pre-op guidance and next steps without needing to call.
- Complete content control: The team can keep patient information up to date with minimal effort.

I built a live preview editor — changes can be previewed on the real site before publishing.

A custom contact form that goes straight to their inbox.

I designed and built several content blocks they can add to any page, so they can manage the site themselves.
